This is a great book. My 6 year old grandson loved the book and pictures. He continues to talk about this wonderful book on a daily basis. I have read it to hm many times and he learns something different every time! He is trying to figure out what his special gift is.

Michelle’s easy-to-use strategies have made learning for my ELL students less stressful! Even students who struggle with the English language can learn required content and demonstrate what they have learned effectively, using these methods! As a bonus, these strategies have also been useful for my students with special needs who struggle with oral and written language. I love having the concise, easy-to-reference format of this book when I need to review and implement strategies to support my students’ learning.

My autistic son, age 14, received a copy of Percy’s Special Gift as a suprise present from a friend. We sat down and read the book together. When we had finished he looked up at me and said: “Mine I’m special just like Percy.” Of course it brought tears to my eyes. This book is so meaningful to all children – each are special in their own way. Thank you for Percy!

We gave this fantastic book to our grandchildren for summer reading. Grandma has read the story to our grand daughter many times; each time finding the tooth is a new adventure. Our grandson has mastered reading skills early and takes pride in reading “his favorite book” to all that will listen to him. Percy’s message is loud and clear and gives us all hope that we should use our gifts/talents to make our world a better place to live. We see that this is the authors first book; we hope to see many more tales about Percy and his special gift.
