About Us
PublishingGurus was started in 2009 by designer Sunny Kapoor, also known as Wicked Sunny, and Editor Betsy Gordon.
Within just one year, we have designed, edited, and formatted more than 70 books, and have helped authors to publish their books.
Now, as PublishingGurus moves into our next stage of growth as a publishing company, we are proud to offer new services for our prospective clients. We can now provide them with all the necessary help required in publishing their books, as well as in promoting them.
We have also begun offering tutorials and workshops, through which we can share our knowledge by teaching various software programs and art techniques.
Whether you're planning to publish your book or submit your manuscript to a publishing company, or if you're thinking of "print on demand" or electronic downloading for your work, we can provide the expertise and the services you need to get your book out in the world.

A book from PublishingGurus is a GOOD BOOK, no matter what its genre - a readable book, well-edited and beautifully designed. You won't find our name on an inferior, disorganized, worthless document in a pretty cover. If your manuscript requires editing to be as good as it can be, we'll let you know, and we'll offer you an affordable editing package. Your editor will work closely with you to perfect your book, while always preserving your unique "voice."
PublishingGurus is not another print-on-demand company that's ready to publish any book without proper editing or formatting. Our goal is not to print many thousands of books, as boasted by other publishing houses. We concentrate on producing only high-quality books, even though that means publishing a smaller number of books.

Founder and Creative Director
Sunny Kapoor, also known as Wicked Sunny, is the winner of several awards for his work as a Poet, Writer, Graphic Designer, and Illustrator. Sunny is also a Cook and an Entrepreneur, who lives in Kolkata, India. With more than 10 years of experience with design software like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash, Sunny is also expert in working with Indesign and the new 3-D software like Zbrush.

Sunny does not believe in self-promotion or promotion of his books. This is the reason he chooses to display his Wicked Mascot logo, instead of pictures of himself.
Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief (I.C.)
Born in Massachusetts, USA, Betsy Gordon holds a B.A. (Spanish) and an M.A. (Teaching) from Harvard University, and an M.A. (Organizational Management) from the University of Phoenix.
Betsy has more than 40 year's experience in freelance writing, rewriting, and editing manuscripts of all kinds, including novels, business books, and articles for scientific journals. She has worked as Senior Editor (I.C.) with Wicked Sunny in PublishingGurus.com since its inception in April 2009. Betsy lives in Southern California.
Director of Marketing and Communication (I.C.)
Nancy Coate has more than 20 years of experience in the field of marketing and communications. Having begun her career in the for-profit arena, she used that training and knowledge to develop expertise in serving the non- profit community.
She recently joined Publishing Gurus and assisted with the marketing of a new book, Percy's Special Gift. Nancy resides in Southern California.
Developer and Web Administrator
Rakesh Menon is a Computer Science Engineering graduate from Kolkata, India, a web developer and a budding entrepreneur.
He has hands-on experience in xHTML/CSS, PHP, jQuery/Javascript and CMS integration (Wordpress/Joomla). He developed an early passion for programming and is a raging workaholic. He joined the Code-pal.com team in Februrary, 2010 and has been providing services under that brand name since then.
Web Administrator
Sumeet Chawla is an application and web developer, currently pursuing his Master's degree in computer application. Born and brought up in Kolkata, West Bengal, the eastern part of India, he loves to code and considers coding as his passion.
He is the Director of Code-pal.com and also Wicked Sunny's brother.
